| Answer» GANDHI started the Civil disobedience movement in 1930.this movement was supposed to be different from the non cooperation movement in which it was sought to bring down the working of the government with not cooperating but civil disobedience movement was an attempt at par alysing the administration. 》》 the programme if the movement includes: -- Defiance of salt laws-- Boycott liq uor and foreign goods-- non payment of taxes and revenues .》》 Ghandiji began the historic March called Dandi March on March 12 from sabarmati ashram to Dandi a village in Gujarat sea cost.he initiated the civil Disobedience movement by violating the salt laws by picking up some leftover salt from the coast. 》》 ROUND TABLE CONFERENCES ::---- First Round table CONFERENCE nov12 1930 to jan 19 1931this conference was held in London but because of the reports of the Simon Commision the Congress boycotted it 》》 Ghandi Irwin Pact -- according to this pact:- the government agreed to withdraw all the ordinances passed- RELEASE political prisoners except the ones guilty with violence - restore confiscated properties - permit free collections and manufacturing of salt - Congress in return agreed to suspend civil disobedience movement - participate in 2nd round table conference - not to press investigation》》 second table conference Sept 7 to dec 1 1931-- ghandiji was the sole representative -- the British GOV refused to give grant of dominion status therefore dissappinted India. 》》 third table conference nov17 1932 to dec24 1932-- Congress refused to attend but BR Ambedkar attended to demand a separate electorate for the depressed classes -- PM of Britain announced an award which provided separate representation to the muslims BUDDHISTS and other classes-- Ghandi strongly opposed this idea as it would disintegrate the society of India.
