Explain reproduction of amoeba and yeast |
|
Answer» Binary fission is the division of one cell into two similar cells. It occurs in unicellular organisms like bacteria, yeast, Euglena, Amoeba and Paramecium. SOMETIMES new individuals develop from the body wall of the parent as BULB like projections called buds. Budding occurs in yeast.Amoeba reproduces by the common asexual reproduction method called binary fission. After replicating its genetic material through mitotic division, the cell divides into two EQUAL sized daughter cells.Explanation:Unicellular organisms, have relatively SIMPLE organizations. So, the asexual MODE of reproduction is common in them. It is so because by asexual reproduction unicellular organisms can multiply very fast. In Amoeba it occurs by binary fission and in yeast by budding to be described first.fr diagram see the attachment |
