Why O-H bond length more in solid phase than in gaseous phase in H2O2 ?

Answer»

Intermolecular interactions of solids are greater than intermolecular interaction in gases, So the bond length of O-O bond is less in solid-state, it LEADS to more lone PAIR -lone pair REPULSIONS and bond angle is more in the solid-state as COMPARED to the GASEOUS state.I hope it will helpfull....☺️
