Social Identity:- It refers to those aspects of a person that link him to a social or cultured group or are derived from it.

It explains individual performance in terms of a single index of cognitive abilities. (2) The major focus of this approach is how an intelligent person acts. It emphasizes on studying cognitive functions, underlying intelligent behaviour.
(3) It focuses on structure of intelligence, i.e. what is intelligence. e.g. unifactor Theory,
The two-factor theory, theory of primary mental abilities.

(4)  Pervasive developmental disorders (PDD) refers to a group of disorders characterized by delays in the development of socialization and communication skills.  They are generally caused by a problem with the nervous system (brain and spinal cord). As such, there is no cure for PDD's.  Medications are used to address specific behavioural problems; therapy for children with PDD should be specialized according to need.
