Enzymes are protein molecules that act as a biological catalysts in our digestive system. In our digestive system, Different enzymes are there to digest the different components of food.

for example,

=> Amylase : It is a carbohyadrate splitting enzyme present in saliva in mouth as well as small intestine. It hydrolysed the starch into a Disaccharides.

=> Lipase : It helps for the digestion of lipids . It breakdown the fat into diglycerides and monoglycerides.

pepsin : The group of these enzymes include trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase which breakdown the Proteins, peptons and proteoses into Dipeptides

=> Nucleases : These enzymes acts on nucleic acids and converted it into nucleotides and nucleosides.
