1.What is transport system ? How does this help to the organism ?

Answer»

A transport system is a means by which materials are moved ('transported') from an exchange surface or exchange surfaces to cells located throughout the organism. Most multicellular plants and animals have too small a surface area to volume ratio so diffusion would be too slow to provide the necessary molecules. Therefore, they require a system to transport nutrients and waste products around the organism.
