So our standard unit of measure for length in the U.S. is miles, and in the rest of the world, it iskilometers. On a smaller scale, such as measuring the length of a pen, we use inches in the U.S. andcentimetersin the rest of the world. Other U.S.measurementsthat we use for length are feet and yards

1liter= 1000milliliter(1 l = 1000 ml). Different liquids (milk, kerosene oil, diesel, petrol etc.) are measured inliters. Different liquid medicines are measured in ml. There are some standardsizedvessels or container of different shapes of one-litercapacity which are used to measure liquids.

The standard International System of Units (SI) unit of mass is thekilogram(kg).
