Answer» It was believed by MANY people that Podu is the reason for DEFORESTATION. They believe that the burn and slash FORM of agriculture has a huge impact on the environment that will end up with FELLED and burnt HILL slopes. Hence, the people of the hill tribes have stopped this practice since the Neolithic times. |
