Substituting the value of x from (i)

10y+10-y=10(10-y)+y+36

or, 9y= 100–10y+y+36–10

or, 9y+10y-y= 126

or, 18y= 126

or, y= 126/18

=> y=7

Substituting the value of y in (i)

x= 10–7=3

So the two digit number is 10x+y = 10*3+7 = 30+7 = 37.
