(a)Basic parts of most all plants are roots, stems, leaves, FLOWERS, fruits, and seeds.

(b)There are 4 main functions of roots:

  • absorption of water and inorganic nutrients.
  • anchoring the plant body to the ground and supporting it.
  • storage of food and nutrients.
  • vegetative reproduction and competition with other plants.

(c)We need classification due to following reasons: It is not possible to study about each existing living organism in details. Classifying organisms into groups makes it easier to KNOW about the different life forms. It helps us to understand the evolution of all life forms to a large extent.

(d)All living things are organized into groups by scientists as they are identified. Living things organized into particular groups have common characteristics. ... Overall, the REASON scientists classify living things is to understand the relationships between different organisms.

(e) Some characteristics of creepers are as follow:

  • Creepers are the plants with soft stem.

(g)In accordance with the Linnaeus method, scientists classify the animals, as they do the plants, on the basis of shared physical characteristics. They place them in a hierarchy of groupings, beginning with the kingdom animalia and proceeding through phyla, classes, orders, families, genera and species.

(h)An animal's body covering is one clearly visible adaptation. Body coverings help to protect animals in diverse environments -- from the land to water, from the arctic to the desert. Mammals have hair, or fur, that helps insulate their bodies.
