Answer» The main factor for the shortage of freshwater is Wastage. Yes, we humans tend to waste freshwater a lot, in a lot many ways. Other factors might include the small percentage of freshwater present on Earth, and the large amount of it stored in the glaciers and ice caps, polluting the rivers, polluting the air, since due to air pollution, acid rain occurs and therefore cannot be utilized without some sort of treatment, etc |
