7: When we put copper sulphate in water after sometime we find the solution turns blue. why? also, on heating it what changes will occur? |
|
Answer» When copper SULPHATE powder is KEPT in WATER for sometime, it absorbs the water as water of crystallisation and the solution turns blue. When we heat the blue-coloured copper sulphate crystals, it will once again turn to white as all water is lost to environment due to EVAPORATION. |
