Answer» 7)Ammonotelic are the organisms which excrete nitrogenous wastes in the form of ammonia while ureotelicanimals excrete nitrogenous wastes in the form ofurea. Ammonia is more toxic than urea and needs lots of water to excrete from the body. Tadpole lives in water. Hence, it can rapidly excrete ammonia due to availability of lots of water. Adult frog lives mainly on land but lives in water also. Hence, they excrete urea which is less toxic than ammonia and release it in the form of concentrated urine with less need of water. 8)Cell theory, first developed in 1839 byMatthias Jakob SchleidenandTheodor Schwann, states that all organisms are composed of one or more cells, that cells are the fundamental unit of structure and function in all living organisms, and that all cells come from pre-existing cells |
