A body is moving in a circular path with constant speed. How much work is done in one complete rotation of this motion? |
|
Answer» When body moves in a circular path, the centripetal force acts on the body which is directed towards the centre of the circular path at every point and the displacement of the body is always perpendicular to the centripetal force. i.e., θ = 90º Work done = Fs cosθ = Fs cos 90º = 0 Hence, no work is done |
