It’s TRUE, WITHOUT telling us how long it took to travel from A to B at 30 kmph, there’s no way of telling how FAR away it is. Seems like someone may be trying to trick you. The SECOND SPEED given is also irrelevant, as the distance from A to B is the same as the distance from B to A. In that sense you could say the distance traveled by the car is 2 x the distance from A to B. If you look at the situation in a different way, then the distance traveled by the car is 0 km, miles, inches…whatever.
