Curved surface area of cone = πrl

l² = r² + h²

where, r = radius of cone

l = slant height of cone

h = height of cone

⇒ l² = 144 + 256 = 400

⇒ l = √400 = 20 cm

Curved surface area of cone = 22/7 × 12 × 20 = 5280/7 cm²
