1)FOREST CONTAIN more trees where trees roots hold the rain water which keep the soil moist and the temp. low THROUGHOUT the year.
2)DESERT areas contain trees in very low amount.which affect the temperature,due to less trees.and therefore it gets rain in very low amount throughout the year.
Hence,a desert region has range of temperature than forest region.
