Answer» Solution : Most of the d-block elements and their COMPOUNDS are attracted by a magnet. This MEANS that these are paramagnetic in nature. This property is due to the unpaired electrons present in their (n-1) d-orbitals. The more the number of unpaired electrons, the more will be magnetic character.
