Nadir Shah's Nadir Shah's Raid of Delhi Nadir Shah returned to Persia with the Peacock Throne as well as many other artifacts from Muhammad Shah's treasury. The appropriation of the Throne was a powerful symbol of the Shah's VICTORY over the once-powerful Mughal dynasty. |
