Answer» The progeny all bore violet flowers ,but almost half of them were short . This suggests that the genetic make up of the tall parent can be depicted as : a. TtWw or b. TtWW. TtWW for 50% tall the parent genotype must be Tt becz if it TT then all plant are tall ......for voilet colour it must be WW becz if it is Ww it the only 50% has voilet colour .... Hence,According to law of inheritance, the dominant character appears in the F1 project. Among violet flowers and white flowers, the character of violet character is dominant. So, all the flowers in F1 progeny will be violet. thanku |
