(c) The speaker of the Lok Sabha is elected from among its own members by majority vote soon after the newly elected house meets for the first time. (d) The Vice-President has casting a vote in the case of an equality of votes i.e. dead lock. (e) The President is elected indirectly because it would be difficult to arrange election in which millions of people were to participate. (f) Answer has not given due to out of present syllabus.
