Answer» Because it FLOWS in kerala as well as Tamil NADU . since Kerala recives south-EAST RAINFALL(SUMMER rain) so Kaveri recives rain in Summer. As Tamil Nadu recives north east rainfall or(winter rain),so Kaveri recives rainfall in winter too.
