Answer» Correct Answer - D Dinoflagellates are basically unicelluslar, motile and biflagellate, golden brown (heterokont), one transverse flagellum and other longitudinal flagellum. The longitudinal flagellum is narrow, smooth, directed posteriorly and lies in the sulcus. The transvers flagellum is ribbon-like lies in the cingulum or annlus. The two tyhpes of flagella beat in different directions. A well defined nucleaus is present, which has been neamed as mesokaryon. |
