A young green plant receives sunlight from one direction only. What willhappen to its shoots and roots?

When sunlight comes from the above, the auxin hormone present at the tip of the stem spreads uniformly and it grows equally but when the sunlight falls only at one side of the stem, the hormone collects on the other side and the stem bends. The root has no effect of sunlight.
