Proof: In ∆ABC, AB = AC and CF ⊥ AB, BE ⊥ AC. ∴ ∠BEC = ∠CFB = 90° (Data) Angles opposite to equal sides of an isosceles triangles are equal. BC is common. ∴ ∆BEC ≅ ∆CFB (ASA postulate) ∴ BE = CF. |
