Synthetic fabrics are textiles made from man-made rather than natural fibers. Some examples of synthetic fabrics are polyester, acrylic, nylon, RAYON, acetate, spandex, lastex and kevlar.

* Prone to heat damage. Melt relatively easily.

* Prone to damage by hot washing.
