Answer» Management is the process of designing and maintaining an environment in which individuals, working together in groups, complete efficiently selected aims. Managers are charged with the responsibility of taking actions that will make it possible for individuals to make their best offerings to group objectives. A manager needs to manage a people doing their tasks and skills and lead their individual vision and control. 1. Planning - Predetermining a course of action for accomplishing organizational objectives. 2. Organizing - Arranging the relationships among work units for accomplishment of objectives and the granting of responsibility and authority to obtain those objectives. 3. Staffing - Selecting and training people for positions in the organization 4. Leading - Creating an atmosphere that will assist and motivate people to achieve desired end results. 5. Controlling - Establishing, measuring, and evaluating performance of activities toward planned objectives. |
