Answer» 1. Unicellular organisms undergo mitotic cell division not only during favourable conditions but also in unfavourable conditions. So I don’t support the given statement. 2. When the organism finds favourable conditions it deserves to perform division called Fission. Ex: Amoeba. 3. Sometimes scarcity of food or to save it life, some organisms undergo mitotic cell division. 4. Organisms like paramoecium undergo a type of sexual reproduction called conjugation during unfavourable conditions. |
