Their capital was Kalyani ( MODERN name BASAVAKALYAN) and hence got their name.Jagadeka Malla II(1139-1149 A.D)- He was the ninth Chalukya king after Someshvara III.- He was followed by Tailapa-III- He wrote a work on music named Sangithachudamani. |
