Answer» Answer: Air is a mixture of nitrogen, OXYGEN, ARGON and other gases. If one simplifies its composition, it is a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen. In a mixture, the MAJORITY COMPONENT is the solvent and the minority component(s) is the solute. Nitrogen is the solvent and oxygen (and all the other MINOR components) is the solute. |
