1.

An impedance coil takes 25 A when connected across 220-volt 25-Hz mains and 5.4 A from a 110-V, 60-Hz mains. What is the inductance?

Answer»

XL=wL

L= XL/w(frequency)

L=220/(25x25)

L=0.3

We know that XL = wL

Where,

w = frequency

L  = inductance

Then

\(L = \frac{X_L}{w}\)

\(L = \frac v{iw}\)

L = \(\frac{220}{25\times25}\)

L = 0.3 H
