(ii) Sterilization: This is done by using chlorine gas or bleaching powder. (iii) Pinking: During cholera epidemic potassium permanganate is mostly used for pinking of wells. (iv) Precipitation: This is done by adding alum or some similar chemical to water, which makes all impurities accumulate at the bottom and leaves pure water. The purified water is then passed through a filter.

Read the paragraph and answer the questions given below.Ten days national level trekking camp was organized for the cadets from five directorates at Ajmer, Rajasthan.
