Answer» Farheen Ali thanks for the answer but I think your concept is wrong..bryophytes are so called not because they are present on both land and water but because they require water for the locomotion of the male gametes for fertilisation. No, Pteridophytes are not known as amphibians of the plant kingdom. Bryophytes are called so because they are present both on land and in water. Pteridophytes need water for fertilization but they also contain vascular system so they are not refered as amphibians of the plant kingdom |
