Though there are many kinds of pollution like – air pollution, soil pollution, water pollution, etc., but noise pollution is affecting our health very badly. Noise pollution is dangerous to our life. It is very regretful to say that in our colony the roar of vehicles is really unbearable. Nearby factories are also contributing to this problem. Loud noise of machines in these factories, loud music played on band during marriage season, ear splitting music in parties at our homes, etc. are some of the main causes which have made the problem serious.

This noise pollution is causing a lot of problems for the patients in the hospital of our colony. Because of this pollution, students of our colony suffer in their studies. It is all the more painful during their exams. Dear friends, I feel that we need to put our collective efforts to solve this problem of noise pollution. We should try to check our own activities which are responsible for this problem. Apart from this, we all should request our District Collector to take necessary action, so that patients, students and older people don’t suffer. I am sure, our efforts will bring down the level of noise pollution in our colony.
