Answer» Kanwarani said that her husband has been seriously thinking to send the servants’ children, even the girls, to school. She tells her (Nandu Bai) that the income of the haveli has come down, and they cannot give employment to the servants’ children. However it is their moral duty to prepare them for a secured future. She does not want that anyone should think that Binniji can take any decision without the elders’ advice. कन्वा रानी सा ने कहा कि उसके पति गम्भीरता से विचार कर रहे हैं नौकरों के बच्चों को स्कूल भेजने के लिये, यहाँ तक कि लड़कियों को भी। वह उसको (नन्दू बुआ सा को) बताती हैं कि हवेली की आमदनी कम हो गई है और वे नौकरों को बच्चों को रोजगार नहीं दे सकते। फिर भी यह उनकी नैतिक जिम्मेदारी है कि उन्हें एक सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिये तैयार करे। वह नहीं चाहती है कि कोई भी यह सोचे कि बिन्नी जी बिना बड़ों की सलाह के कोई निर्णय ले सकती हैं। |
