Answer» a law stating that the pressure of a given mass of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to its volume at a constant temperature. At constant temperature pressure is inversely proportional to volume. This is boyle law. The graph of p-v curve is parabolic in which upper part shows compression and lower part shows expansion.
