Answer» Solution :(i) Somnath LAHIRI was communist member. His interpretation that the interim government was working under the influence of British government in London. (ii) In the winter of 1946-47, as the assembly deliberated, the British were still in India. (iii) An interim ADMINISTRATION headed by Jawaharlal Nehru was in place but it could only operate under the duration of the viceroy and the British Government in London. (iv) The constituent assembly was British MADE and was "Working the British plans as the British should like to be worked out". For every little difference one had to run to the Federal court. (V) The final power was still in the British hands and the question of power was not finally DECIDED. |
