| Answer» The fluorescent lamps are commonly called tube rods. They produce light by fluorescence which is usually rich in blue nad red wavelenghts. Therefore, photosynthesis can occur under the light of ordinary fluorescent lamps provided it is about 400 to 500 Lux (10.76 Lux =1 foot-candle). | |
