Answer» In asymmetric networks, the bandwidth in one direction, typically from the user to the Internet, is significantly lower than in the other. These networks include ADSL, cable modems and satellite DISTRIBUTION. RTP can be used readily, but it may be necessary to have only data senders SEND RTCP MESSAGES. These RTCP messages are useful to allow inter-media synchronization and identify the content of the media STREAM.
