Once that limit is reached and air is still blown inside the balloon, balloon cannot expand further. 4. As a result, air causes additional pressure on inner surface of balloon. 5. Since, pressure inside balloon is now greater than pressure outside balloon, balloon bursts equalizing the two pressures.
