Answer» The poem starts with the statement of the Ganga about its origin from the mountain snow. Passing through the foothills and plains, it carries the wishes of its streams to the sea. A variety of human activities taking place on its banks are described next. इस कविता का प्रारम्भ गंगा के इस वक्तव्य के साथ होता है कि यह पहाड़ों के बर्फ से उत्पन्न हुयी है। तलहटी की पहाड़ियों तथा मैदानों से गुजरती हुयी यह नदी इसकी सहायक नदियों की इच्छाओं को समुद्र तक ले जाती है। फिर इसके किनारों पर होने वाली गतिविधियों का चित्रण आता है। |
