A novel is not a mere narration of incidents and events. It is a live picture of the people’s life of a region. So naturally, the true enjoyment lies in the interaction of its characters in their own dialect or language. The novelist has given the names of the characters in the regional language for example Kanwarani sa, Manji sa, Nandu sa, Vijay Bai sa, Bhagwat Singh ji, Daulat Singh Ji, Sarju, Dhapu, etc. For ‘Bahu’Binniji has been used, for mother Bhabhi, for grandmother Bara Bhabhi, for Babu sahab, Bapu sa have been used. This gives flavour of Rajasthani language, particularly that of Udaipur.

एक उपन्यास घटनाओं और पर्यों का वर्णन मात्र नहीं है। यह एक क्षेत्र के लोगों के जीवन की जीती जागती तस्वीर है। अतः असली आनन्द पात्रों का एक-दूसरे से अपनी भाषा में बात चीत करने में है। उपन्यासकार ने पात्रों के नाम क्षेत्रीय भाषा में दिये हैं, उदाहरण के लिये कन्वारानी सा, मानजी सा, नन्दू बाई सा, विजय बाई सी, भगवत सिंह जी, दौलत सिंह जी, सरजू, धापू, इत्यादि। बहू के स्थान पर बिन्नीजी, दादी के स्थान पर बड़ा भाभी, बाबू साहब के स्थान पर बापू सा का प्रयोग हुआ है। यह राजस्थानी भाषा की झलक देता है, विशेष कर उदयपुर की भाषा की।
