(i.e field is along + direction of x-axis). 

Surface are, 

s = (10cm)2 = 10-2m2 

When plane is parallel to yz plane, 

θ = 0° 

ϕE (electric flux) = Es cosθ 

= 3× 103 × 10−2 × cos 0° 

= 30 Nm2/C.
