Define Commensalism and Parasitism. |

Answer» Commensalism- An interaction between two species in which one is benefitted and the other one is neither harmed nor benefited. e.g. Orchids growing on trunk/branch of a tree. Parasitism- An interaction between two species where parasite not only obtains food from its host but also completes its life cycle on the host. e.g. Bacteria, fungi etc. |
