The cube of a number is the number raised to the power 3, e.g., cube of 8 = 83 = 8 × 8 × 8 = 512.

A natural number n is a perfect cube if there exists a natural number m such that n = m × m × m, i.e., m3 = n. 64 is a perfect cube as 64 = 43 .
