Answer» A distribution when its frequency curve is as Normal/Symmetrical curve ie as peaked as Normal curve it is called Mesokurtic. A distribution which is more peaked than Normal distribution is called Leptokurtic distribution. A distribution which is less peaked than Normal distribution is called Platykurtic distribution.
