Answer» e here your answer ☺☺_____ _____________________ferrous minerals ______________Ferrous minerals are those bearing a quantity of Iron. Now let us understand there is a difference between an ore and a mineral. An ore generally means a material from which it is possible to extract a metal or other material economically.Whereas a mineral will contain a particular metal or element from which it will not be economical to extract the given metal or element. In that sense almost any part of EARTH extraction will contain good quantity of Silicon (as silica or SAND) or Aluminum. (as an alumina or allumino-silicate) But it will not be economical to extract these metals from such extract or excavation. In most parts of world any earth DUG will have some quantity of iron. In that sense it will be an iron mineral. But in actual practice such excavation is DONE for say copper or coal or other commercially useful material.Any mineral used as a source of materials other than iron should be CALLED as non ferrous minerals. ___________thanks |
