1.	Define sorption.
Answer» When both adsorption and absorption occur simultaneously, it is known as sorption. e.g. When a chalk is dipped in ink, the ink molecules are adsorbed at the surface of the chalk while the solvent of the ink goes deeper into the chalk due to absorption.
