Answer» When a glass rod is rubbed with a silk CLOTH, it BECOMES positive charge and when a EBONITE rod is rubbed with a woolen cloth, it becomes a NEGATIVE charge. The change produced in glass or ebonite rod is known as Static ELECTRICITY. There is no movement of electrons in this electricity.
