Answer» Elasticity is that property of a material of a body by virtue of which it opposes any change in its shape or size when deforming force are applied on it , and recover its original state as saon as the deforming force are removed.<br>The property of a body that it can regain its original shape or size after the removal of deforming force. This property is known as elasticity.<br>The property of a body by virtue of which the body tries to regain its original shape after the removal of deforming force, is called as Elasticity.
